Observation: REPEAT VIOLATION: Battery for paper towel dispensing unit in washroom appears to require replacement. Paper towel available for use on back of toilet. This is not sanitary. - CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION: EHO had to physically watch staff change out batteries to ensure this item was completed. Do not ignore violations of inspection reports. Items to be corrected are to be corrected.

Correction: Ensure battery is replaced in paper towel dispensing unit and paper towel dispensing units are functional at ALL TIMES.
NEVER store single use paper towels on back of toilet as this is unsanitary.

Hot potentially hazardous food stored/displayed below 60 °C. [s. 14(2)]
Observation: Rice found in warming unit at internal temperatures of 44 degrees Celsius. The item was found not to be in direct contact with the hot holding unit. Item placed inside a plastic tub within the hot holding unit insert.
CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION - item reheated in microwave.

Correction: Ensure hot holding units are used as per manufacturer's directions. The food items need to be maintained at temperatures of greater than or equal to 60 degrees Celsius.
