Observation: 1) The ice scoop was stored on top of a dish storage rack.
2) There was tape on the handle of one of the knives.
Corrective Action(s): 1) Store the ice scoop inside a clean vessel/container. Wash the container regularly.
2) Do not use tape on knives.

Comments

-All coolers were below 4 degC
-Walk-in freezer temperature was below -18 degC
-Hand sinks are fully equipped
-Dishwasher rinse has 50ppm chlorine
-Water filters are changed every 4-6 months. Next filter change is due at the end of June.
-Temperature logs are being maintained.
-Pest control Company is on contract. Reports are on-site. No concerns noted.

**Several staff members have their FoodSafe Level 1 certificates expiring on July 29th of this year. Ensure that staff get recertified.**
