304 - Premises not free of pests [s. 26(a)]
Observation: Mouse activity observed throughout the kitchen. Moderate to significant volumes noted in following areas:
- utility/mop room;
- behind bin freezer and upright cooler;
- below dishwash station and surrounding area;
- below other coolers and counters;
- Cookline below, and along floor wall interface;
- front handwash station;
Showed owner locations and areas of concern.
Corrective Action(s): A) Clean up facility to remove food debris and mouse droppings. Reduced food availability for rodents an important component of Intergrated Pest Management practices. Clean up will also allow Pest Control technician to target traps better to eliminate rodent activity.
B) Have Pest Control technician replace sticky traps, especially in areas where trap has been damaged or rendered ineffective due to debris.
Make sure Pest Control provides recommendations to control/eliminate mice from premises. Follow recommendations.

305 - Conditions observed that may allow entrance/harbouring/breeding of pests [s. 26(b),(c)]
Observation: Multiple mouse access points observed in premises. Notable - below front handsink, back mop sink area, gap between stainless steel cookline surround and baseboard to front area, below dishpit. Possibly more behind equipment along walls, and in public or common area to washroom, but not checked.
Corrective Action(s): Block all access points, including areas where wall has been chewed, baseboards are missing or damaged, where gaps larger than a dime present and/or around plumbing/electrical network to and from walls.
Continue to identify and replace.
