Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Scoop stored inside container with the handle in contact with the food.
Corrective Action(s): Ensure scoops are stored in a sanitary manner to prevent potential contamination of foods. Scoop was removed at the time of inspection.

Comments

-Walk-in cooler was at 3C.
-Front sandwich cooler was at 4C.
-Chest freezers ranged from -19C to -24C.
-Hot foods are sold/removed within 2 hours.
-Chemical dishwasher had a final rinse of 50ppm to 100ppm chlorine on the dish surface (minimum of 50ppm required for sanitation).
-Handwash station accessible and supplied with hot and cold running water, liquid hand soap, and single use paper towels.
-Quats sanitizer pails labelled and tested at 200ppm.
-Ice machine was found to be clean and sanitary.
-Foods stored off the ground.
-Foods along the cafeteria line individually wrapped and protected from potential contamination.
-General sanitation satisfactory at the time of inspection. Some mould growth observed on the underside of the shelving units in the walk-in cooler.
-Facility is serviced by a professional pest control operator on a monthly basis. Operator stated two rodents were recently tapped in the monitoring station. Minor signs of pests noted at the time of inspection. Continue to monitor for pest activity and contact pest control services as needed.
-Washroom clean and sanitary. Handwash station supplied with liquid hand soap and single use paper towels.
-FOODSAFE Level 1 valid until August 27, 2026.
