Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Panini press installed next to hand sink making it difficult for staff to reach the soap and paper towel dispenser on the wall. There is also a risk of burns for staff.
Corrective Action(s): Re-locate panini press to another location as not to impede the use of the handsink and proper handwashing practices. Contact EHO with proposed new location. Business card provided.

209 - Food not protected from contamination [s. 12(a)]
Observation: During inspection customer noted hair in tuna container and it was attached to the scooper. Scooper was taken to the back and cleaned and sanitized and tuna was replaced with new insert. Only one scooper available for tuna.
Corrective Action(s): Ensure additional utensils and equipment are available in such situations - extra clean scoopers or ladles or spoons to replace dirty or contaminated utensils or equipment. Get extra utensils and ensure staff are aware of how to handle these types of situations.

Observation: 1. 2 round drilled holes in lower wall behind middle prep table in front of walk in freezer.
2. Large cut hole in wall under unused staff washroom sink.
Corrective Action(s): Ensure all holes are properly sealed to prevent possible pest entry and to allow for proper cleaning. Repair holes.
