Comments

Follow up to Rpt # MBEK-BH6T75.

Food observed to be stored off the floor at the time of inspection.
Quaternary ammonium compounds (quats) sanitizer test strips (within expiry) and chlorine test strips are available on site.
It was stated that the hand sink leak and quaternary ammonium compounds (quats) sanitizer dispenser have been adjusted or fixed; however, the following was observed at the time of inspection:
1. A small leak was observed underneath the hand sink noted on the previous report when the hand sink was in use.
2. Dispenser for quats sanitizer is dispensing at less than 200 ppm quats.

The following is required to be completed on or before October 28, 2019:
1. Eliminate all leakage from underneath the hand sink.
2. Ensure dispenser is dispensing quats sanitizer at 200 ppm quats (or higher according to manufacturer's directions - e.g. up to 400 ppm quats. Confirm with manufactuer's directions.)

In the interim:
Continue to use bleach water sanitizer for food contact surfaces until quats dispenser has been serviced and reinspected by the Environmental Health Officer. Bleach water sanitizer available at 100 to 200 ppm chlorine at time of inspection.
Remove any liquid that may leak beneath hand sink. Mop floor as needed. Note: Minor leak present and no items stored in the vicinity.
Contact the Environmental Health Officer if you have any questions or concerns.
