During the inspection the facility manager provided details on the steps taken to increase monitoring of added health and hygiene measures.Covid Safety Plans have been provided to families and is posted within the facility.
In practicing Covid-19 precautions the inspection report was completed off site with arrangements made for delivery, therefore unsigned.
At the inspection dated July 3, 2020 there were 6 children in the care of the facility manager. At this inspection no contraventions were identified. The following were discussed;
Ensure time spent outdoors is maintained daily as set out in the DOLSOP - during this time of Covid it is further recommended that children spend additional time outdoors ( rain or shine )
Ensure a system is in place to sanitize mouthed toys or toys requiring cleaning.
Hot dogs served for lunch - this was not included as one of the items listed within the facility menu as provided to Licensing and if served regularly will require a food permit as it is noted as a high risk item.
Attendance records are complete with times of arrival and departure , it is noted that attendance at this facility varies hoever please ensure records also clearly demonstrate when children are expected to attend and are absent.
As part of this Routine Inspection a Facility Risk Assessment Tool is completed and a copy is provided.
