Observation: Pest control operator left a bag of loose poison behind the chest freezers in the ice machine room.
Corrective Action(s): Remove the poison from the facility and ensure the professional pest control operator only places poisons in designated locations.

Observation: Sanitizer pails were unlabelled.
Corrective Action(s): Ensure all chemicals are labelled to identify their contents to prevent accidental mixing and or misuse. Once labels fade/wear off, ensure containers are relabelled.

Comments

-Walk-in cooler was at 4C.
-Front cooler was at 4C.
-Chest freezers ranged from -18C to -24C.
-Hot holding was greater than 60C. Foods are cooked to temperature and are sold/discarded within 2 hours.
-Temperatures are checked and recorded daily.
-Chemical dishwasher had a final rinse of 100ppm chlorine on the dish surface (minimum of 50ppm required for proper sanitizing).
-Handwash station accessible and supplied with hot and cold running water, liquid hand soap, and single use paper towels.
-Quats sanitizer pails tested at 200ppm.
-Equipment was found to be clean and sanitary.
-Ice machine was found to be clean and well maintained. Ice scoop stored in a sanitary manner.
-General food storage practices good at the time of inspection. Foods stored off the ground and protected from potential contamination. Prepackaged foods were protected from potential contamination.
-General sanitation satisfactory at the time of inspection.
-Facility serviced by a professional pest control operation. Evidence of past pest observed at the time of inspection, Clean and sanitize all areas affected with rodents droppings and contact pest control as needed.
-Washroom clean and sanitary. Handwash station supplied with liquid hand soap and single use paper towels.
-FOODSAFE Level 1 valid until August 27, 2026.
