Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): One designated hand washing sink in kitchen was missing paper towels.
Second designated hand washing sink in kitchen (next to chest freezer) had a phone charger stored in the sink basin.
Corrective Action(s): Paper towels provided, phone charger removed. Ensure all handwashing stations are accessible and unobstructed at all times. In addition, ensure all handwashing station are supplied with hot and cold running water, liquid soap, and paper towels at all times in order to facilitate proper hand washing. Future violation(s) may result in enforcement action.

Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Employee observed washing hands without using soap.
Employee observed washing gloves. Employee observed touching face without washing hands.
Corrective Action(s): Discussed proper hand washing practices with staff and owner at time of inspection.
- Hands must be properly washed at designated handwashing stations with warm running water and liquid soap, then dried with single use paper towels.
- If gloves are used, they must be discarded whenever they may be contaminated, and hands must be properly washed as noted above prior to putting on a new pair of gloves. Avoid touching face, hair, and clothing. If touched, hands must be properly washed. Future violations will result in enforcement action.

Observation: Baseboard located along kitchen wall behind chest freezer, and extending all the way to the cook line, is separated from the wall.
Corrective Action(s): - Ensure area is thoroughly cleaned (food debris present).
- Ensure baseboard is secured in place along the perimeter of the floor-to-wall junction to prevent food debris from accumulating in these areas and to allow for proper cleaning. Date to be corrected by: January 8, 2024.

Broth/soup on stove top at 60 degrees C or more.
Thermometers in place for all coolers. Probe thermometer on site.
Food observed being thawed in cooler.
It was stated that cooked broth is cooled in the freezer, then defrosted in the cooler prior to use.
Bleach water sanitizer available in spray bottle and in bucket at 200 ppm chlorine (front and kitchen area).
High temperature dishwasher measured 71 degrees C or more at the utensil surface during the final rinse.
Ventilation canopy exterior/filters in clean condition. General sanitation satisfactory.
Equipment and utensils in clean condition.
No signs of pest activity observed at time of inspection.
FOODSAFE requirements met at time of inspection. Operator on site; FOODSAFE Level 1 certificate valid to March 23, 2026.
