Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): There was no sanitizer on-site at the time of the inspection. Operator sent a staff to buy some during the inspection.
Corrective Action(s): Always store wiping cloths INSIDE a pail of sanitizer solution as discussed. Do not leave wiping cloths on the countertops.

401 - Adequate handwashing stations not available for employees [s. 21(4)]
Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): There is no separate handsink in the kitchen. The 2-compartment sink is being used for handwashing as well as a prep sink. During the inspection, two tubs of noodles were being soaked in then sink and chopped up cabbage was also stored in the sink. The sink was not available for handwashing.
Corrective Action(s): DO NOT store foods inside the sink. Keep extra food items inside the walk-in cooler and only bring them out as needed.

Observation: The rice cooker with rice was stored on the dishwasher counter.
Corrective Action(s): Foods shouldn't be stored where dirty dishes are stored. Keep the rice warmer on the table beside it.

-Coolers are below 4 degC
-Foods in the freezer are frozen
-Washroom sinks, bar sink and 2-compartment sink in the kitchen are fully equipped
-Dishwasher rinse is at 82 degC
-The manager has refreshed her FS level 1. Expiry date is July 18, 2024.

AS DISCUSSED, LOWER THE SHELVING IN THE KITCHEN TO CREATE MORE STORAGE SPACE IN THE KITCHEN.
