Note: Hot water is available and temperature of water to faucet currently controlled by turning off cold water tap - Violation remains pending/uncorrected. - Operator reported plumber has been on-site and part has been ordered to complete repair. Corrective Action(s): - Replace hot water tap at warewashing sink. - Date to be corrected by extended to: 16-May-2023 - Operator to notify EHO once repair is complete. Violation Score: 3 311 - Premises not maintained as per approved plans [s. 6(1)(b)] Observation: - Baseboard missing from wall which is adjacent to cook line. Exposed wood present. Follow up inspection conducted. Corrective actions completed: - Cleaning of floor under equipment has been completed. Ensure these areas are cleaned regularly to prevent accumulation of food debris. - Duct tape has been removed from slushie machine. *See comment below - Oil no longer kept in single use container. Washable container intended for food storage now used for this purpose. Action required: - *Drip tray on slushie machine previously held in place with duct tape remains cracked and requires replacement. Operator reported replacement drip tray is difficult to obtain. Equipment must be maintained in good repair and smooth, washable condition. Cracks and crevices can collect food debris and attract pests. Operator to look into options and provide estimated timeframe to have it fixed/addressed.
