HAZARD RATING FOR YOUR FACILITY: Low (≤15) Total Score = 9
Critical Hazards: Total Number: 1
302 - Equipment/utensils/food contact surfaces not properly washed and sanitized [s. 17(2)]
Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): There less than half a bottle of bleach left in a 4L bottle. There were no other sanitizer bottles on-site. The staff on duty said that they wash the dishes with soap and rinse them. They do not sanitize afterwards.
Corrective Action(s): This is NOT acceptable. The proper method of washing dishes in a 3-compartment sink is washing with detergent in the 1st sink, rinsing with clean water in the 2nd compartment and then soaking in a sanitizer solution (200ppm chlorine/quats) in the 3rd sink for at least 2 minutes before air drying (do not rinse the dishes again after sanitizing). Start using this method of dishwashing.
Violation Score: 5

Non-Critical Hazards: Total Number: 2
311 - Premises not maintained as per approved plans [s. 6(1)(b)]
Observation: The soap dispenser in the kitchen is broken.
Corrective Action(s): Get the dispenser fixed. You need to have liquid soap at this sink. This was mentioned on your last inspection report as well.
Violation Score: 3

502 - In operator’s absence, no staff on duty has FOODSAFE Level 1 or equivalent [s. 10(2)]
Observation: The staff on duty did not have FoodSafe Level 1 Certification.
Corrective Action(s): In owner/manager's absence, at least one staff on duty must be FS level 1 Certified.
Violation Score: 1
