302 - Equipment/utensils/food contact surfaces not properly washed and sanitized [s. 17(2)]
Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): 1) Sanitizer bucket had 0ppm chlorine. When staff was advise to prepare the sanitizer solution, it was observed that the staff was mixing bleach and detergent together. Staff was instructed on how to prepare 100-200ppm chlorine solution at this time.
2) No sanitizer prepared for the front serving area. Staff had advised the spray bottle has chlorine and hand soap mixed together. Solution poured out and the bottle was refilled with 100-200ppm chlorine solution at this time.
Corrective Action(s): Ensure to prepare 100-200ppm chlorine solution in buckets every morning and store all wiping cloths in this solution during operation. All food prep surfaces must be sanitized before initiating any food prep in the morning, every 2 hours and after each possible contamination during operation. Discuss with all food handlers regarding this.

401 - Adequate handwashing stations not available for employees [s. 21(4)]
Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Handwash station in kitchen missing liquid soap. No extra soap available in facility. Staff was advise to purchase a liquid soap from the adjacent food store during the time of the inspection.
Corrective Action(s): Ensure the handwash station is equipped with liquid soap and paper towels at all times.

402 - Employee does not wash hands properly or at adequate frequency [s. 21(3)]
Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): The only handwash station available in kitchen was missing liquid soap and staff was not aware of this.
Corrective Action(s): Ensure all food handlers are using this station to wash hands. All staff should follow proper handwashing practice at all times to avoid food borne illness occurring from the facility.

Observation: 1) Walk-in cooler and freezer require reorganization. Stacking of uncovered foods observed from top part of prep cooler and in walk-in freezer.
2) Rice scoops stored in stagnant water.
Corrective Action(s): 1) Ensure all foods are properly covered with food grade materials to avoid contamination. Do not stack food on top of another without providing protection in between. All raw meats, seafood and eggs should be stored below and away from ready to eat foods (i.e. cooked foods, vegetables).
2) Ensure to store rice scoops in ice, never in room temperature water.

Observation: Walk in cooler and freezer require better organization and cleaning. Inside the top part of prep coolers require cleaning.
Corrective Action(s): Ensure these areas are cleaned. Remove all food debris on a daily basis.
