Introduction

An unscheduled routine inspection was conducted to assess compliance with the Community Care and Assisted Living Act (CCALA), the Child Care Licensing Regulations (CCLR) and the relevant Director of Licensing Standards of Practice (DoLSoP). All care categories were inspected for compliance.

Current Inspection - Items reviewed comply with the Act, regulations & standards of practice except for those noted on supplementary pages.
Observed Violations
RECORDS AND REPORTING: 19080 - CCLR s.57(2)(b) - A licensee must keep, for each child, a record showing the following information: (b) date of enrolment in the community care facility.
Observation: Licensing observed that date of enrollment was missing on two files of three files inspected
Corrective Action(s): Ensure that date of enrollment is kept for each child.

ummary of Inspection:
At the inspection dated October 3, 2023 there were 2 children present Licensing met with the licensee. At this inspection above noted contraventions were identified.
As part of this Routine Inspection a Facility Risk Assessment Tool is completed and a copy is provided.

The following was discussed or education provided:
Not include any ointments in the first Aid Kit without parents permission.
To store lunch boxes either in the fridge or have ice packs included.
