Follow up to report MBEK-CN7VEH.
- Additional staff have received FOODSAFE Level 1 or equivalent training since the previous routine health inspection. FOODSAFE Level 1 equivalent certificate checked for staff member on duty at time of inspection is valid to 2028.
- No pooling liquid observed under the ice machine. Equipment/piping has been repaired/replaced since previous routine inspection, as stated by operator.
- Areas with missing drywall noted on previous report have been sealed.
- Dry storage shelving is clean and organized. Food items stored in rigid containers with lids and protected from potential contamination. No evidence of pest activity on shelving, no evidence of potential contamination of food.
- Few rodent droppings observed on floor under one shelf located in dry storage room. Droppings may not be recent. Operator has provided pest control report to the Environmental Health Officer since the previous routine health inspection.

The following was discussed with the operator:
- Remove droppings and ensure affected areas are properly cleaned and sanitized. Ensure door to dry storage remains properly closed when not in active use. Continue to have premises serviced by pest control technician and monitor for new activity.
- It was stated by the operator that ventilation canopy was cleaned since previous inspection; however, ventilation canopy filters observed with accumulation of oil at time of inspection. Ensure ventilation canopy and cook line are cleaned as often as necessary in order to limit the accumulation of oil. In addition, ensure hard-to-reach areas are cleaned regularly.
- It was stated by the operator that the cutting boards located at the preparation coolers have been resurfaced. Ensure food contact surfaces are cleaned and sanitized at least every four hours or more often as needed to limit potential contamination of food.
