Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Wall-mounted vegetable chopper had dried food debris on the metal cutters and on the unit
Corrective Action(s): Staff began to clean and sanitize the vegetable chopper. Reviewed the sanitation steps for the wall mounted chopper

Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Food contact surface sanitizer spray bottle registered <10 ppm chlorine.
Corrective Action(s): A fresh batch of sanitizer was made by the staff which registered at 100 ppm chlorine

Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Chopped green bell peppers stored in a container in the walk-in cooler were directly in contact with the wall of the walk-in cooler
Corrective Action(s): Staff VOLUNTARILY discarded the chopped green bell peppers that were in contact with the walk-in cooler wall and the top layer of bell peppers that were stored in the container

Observation: 1) Food debris noted underneath multiple units throughout the facility (cookline, cooler & freezer units, and front point of sale area)
2) Food debris noted on the bottom shelf inside multiple cooler and freezer units
3) Oil build up noted behind the frier unit
Staff indicated that a cleaning company comes in regularly, however, they did not come in last week.
Corrective Action(s): 1) Ensure that the above-mentioned areas are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized, focus on hard to reach areas.
2) Update Sanitation Plan to increase the frequency of cleaning and sanitizing the facility
3) Keep the updated sanitation plan on site for review for the next routine inspection
