Introduction

A scheduled/unscheduled follow up inspection was conducted to assess compliance with the Community Care and Assisted Living Act (CCALA), the Child Care Licensing Regulations (CCLR) and the relevant Director of Licensing Standards of Practice (DLSP). Areas of non-compliance identified at the last routine inspection were reviewed today. The following contraventions have been addressed: 12040 - All Criminal Record Checks are in place for all substitute staff 12430 - Staff files are complete. Discussed requirement for immunization for 1 staff 14020 - This contravention was rectified with an approval for temporary placement.

Comments

Summary of Inspection At inspection dated September 25th 2019 there were 6 children and the Licensee present. At this inspection no contraventions were identified. Visit the CCFL website at www.fraserhealth.ca/childcare for additional resources, and links to the Legislation (CCALA and CCLR). Discussed a query for further temporary placement approval and also explored assessment process to ensure that each request meets the needs of all children during the temporary placement process.
