Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Back handwash station cold water tap does not work and there was no paper towels at the handwash station.
Corrective Action(s): Handwash stations must be easily accessible and supplied with hot and cold running water, liquid hand soap, and single use paper towels. While handwash station is waiting to be serviced, use one of the compartments in the 3 compartment sink for handwashing.

Comments

-Facility is currently in the process of selling. New operators are not to begin operations without first contacting the Health Department and receiving health approval to operate.
-Facility makes chicken and mojo's once daily in the morning and cleaned and sanitized equipment. After items are sold, no more food is made during the day.
-Walk-in cooler was at 4C.
-Freezer unit along back wall was at -18C.
-Frozen novelty freezer was at -20C.
-Hot holding was greater than 60C.
-Handwash station in front area supplied with hot and cold running water, liquid hand soap, and single use paper towels.
-Random selection of canned foods were within their best before dates and in good condition.
*3 cartons of eggs were found with best before dates of Jul 05 2017 and (2) July 10 2017. Ensure stock is checked frequently and is not sold past the best before date.
-Foods properly stored off the floor.
-General sanitation satisfactory at the time of inspection. No signs of pests noted at the time of inspection.
-Washroom clean and sanitary.
