Observation:
1) The floor under equipment and counter tops has some food debris and or stains on them. This will attract pests.
2) The shelves inside cupboards has food debris and stains on them. This will attract and harbor pests.
Corrective Action(s):
1) Scrub and wash the floors in the mentioned areas to remove the food and stains. This should be done on a daily basis to prevent pest issues.
2) Remove all items from cupboards and wash the shelves (with hot water and soap) to remove debris and stains. This shall be done at least twice a month.

Comments

A routine inspection was conducted, the following observations were made:
- Coolers 4C or colder; thermometers present; and temperatures recorded daily.
- Hand sinks stocked with liquid soap, paper towels, and running hot and cold water.
- Quats sanitizer in spray bottles and in cloth bucket was 200ppm.
- No expired foods for sale or in use. FIFO rules being followed.
- General sanitation level is satisfactory. Improvement needed in the mentioned areas. Ensure all empty milk containers are removed from the space throughout the day, check under and beside equipment.
- Some surfaces are becoming worn, dented, chipped and/or has peeling surfaces. Structural improvements will be required in the future, as the damaged surfaces are making it difficult to clean or keep clean.
- FoodSafe certified staff present.
- Foods stored in food grade containers; covered/protected; labeled; date coded; and stored 6" off the floor on shelves.
