Introduction

An unscheduled routine inspection was conducted to assess compliance with the Community Care and Assisted Living Act (CCALA), the Child Care Licensing Regulations (CCLR) and the relevant Director of Licensing Standards of Practice (DLSP). All areas of the facility were inspected for compliance.

Observed Violations

No violations were found during the inspection.

Comments

At this inspection there were 4 children and the Licensee present. At this inspection there were no contraventions identified. As part of this Routine Inspection a Facility Risk Assessment Tool is completed and a copy is provided. The following education/recommendations were provided: -Sanitizing practices -Care plans -Snack menu updates The following resources were provided: -Universal precautions poster -Guidance in the selection of cleaners, sanitizers and disinfectants -3 step dishwashing poster Visit the CCFL website at www.fraserhealth.ca/childcare for additional resources, and links to the Legislation (CCALA and CCLR).
