Comments

Discussed during the inspection:
-Blind cords are to be tied up high, especially in the nap area. These were above a bed that is not currently being used and was fixed during inspection. Licensee stated the usual practice is to hang them up high, and all other cords in facility were up high already at arrival of LO.
-Placement of diaper change station. Currently in an appropriate area, but makes the area "squished".

As part of this Routine Inspection a Facility Risk Assessment Tool is completed and a copy is provided.
This Inspection report was completed off site and provided by email therefore signature not obtained. All parts of this report were discussed with the staff during the inspection. A written response from the licensee is not required for the one contravention identified. A plan is already in place.
Thank you for your cooperation during today's inspection. Visit the CCFL website at www.fraserhealth.ca/childcare for additional resources, and links to the Legislation (CCALA and CCLR).
