Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): 1. A new ice cream freezer and milkshake mixer have been placed in the front area.
Ice cream scoops are being left in a bucket of water
Milk shake mixer is being rinsed with hot soap water

Corrective Action(s): Food safety plan and sanitation plan have not been updated. Submit updates to food safety plan and sanitation plan.

Ice cream scoops must either be stored in a dipper well or a washed and sanitized scoops is to be used every time. Do not leave scoops in stagnant water after use.

Milkshake mixer is to be rinsed with sanitizer after every use - Place a milkshake cup of sanitizer at the front and run the mixer in the sanitizer after each use.

2. Sanitizer buckets changed to Quats and tested at 200ppm. Ensure there is clear communication with staff when sanitizer runs out. Be sure to switch to an appropriate sanitizer, do not simply use hot soapy water as this is not a sanitizer.

Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Only handwashing sink in kitchen was blocked at time of inspection.
Corrective Action(s): Do not place anything in the hand washing sink or in front of sink. There must always be clear access to the hand washing sink.
