Introduction

An unscheduled routine inspection was conducted to assess compliance with the Community Care and Assisted Living Act (CCALA), the Child Care Licensing Regulations (CCLR) and the relevant Director of Licensing Standards of Practice (DLSP). All care categories were inspected for compliance.

Current Inspection - Items reviewed comply with the Act, regulations & standards of practice.

Observed Violations
No violations were found during the inspection.

Comments

At the inspection dated October 18, 2022 there were 29 children and 7 staff present. At this inspection no contraventions were identified. No further action is required by the Licensee or the Licensing Officer. As part of this Routine Inspection a Facility Risk Assessment Tool is completed and a copy is provided.

The following education/recommendations were provided:
- A system is in place for checking emergency food supply.
- Ensure to store emergency food in an appropriate place.
- Servicing of fire extinguishers.
- Creating care plan and reviewing annually.
- Medication storage.
- Have a system for checking with the ECE Registry.
