Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Hashbrown in 2 undercounter drawer coolers (below grill) measured at 11C to 13C. Staff states the bottom drawer is not working.
Corrective Action(s): Bottom and top drawers are same compartment. Do not store hashbrown or any other potentially hazardous foods in these units. Discard hashbrowns.

Observation: Handwashing station next to prep sink is not turned on. No water coming out.

Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Frozen raw chicken pieces and batter stored beside ready-to-eat sauces and foods in sandwich prep cooler.
Corrective Action(s): Ensure to store raw meat items away from ready-to-eat products so they would not pose a risk of contamination. Store them at a separate compartment that is physically separated from ready-to-eat foods or store them underneath ready-to-eat products.

Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Frozen cooked beef thawing at room temperature.
Corrective Action(s): Ensure to have frozen item fully immersed in cold water when thawing.

Observation: Overall sanitation needs to be addressed.
Corrective Action(s):
- Clean all equipment surfaces and interiors, including rubber seals of the coolers.
- Clean walk-in cooler floor - remove all food scraps.
- Clean pans and pots with black burnt surfaces. Replace old ones that cannot be cleaned.
- Clean waffle pans.
- Ensure waffle pan cleaning brush is being washed & sanitized after each usage.
- Trays holding washed utensils are observed with debris - clean and sanitize the trays.
- Food debris and batter powders observed on stainless steel counter shelves and on meat slicers - clean and sanitize.
- Black knife marks observed on cutting boards in kitchen. Clean and sanitize.

- Faucet in the first washroom is loose.

- Repair all of the units above.

All handsinks (except the one in kitchen next to prep sink) fully equipped.
QUATS sanitizer available in buckets and in spray bottle measured at 200 ppm.
Low temperature dishwasher measured 50ppm chlorine during sanitizing cycle.
No signs of pest at the time of inspection.
Vent hood is maintained.
All coolers (except two grill undercounter coolers) at 4C or below.
All freezers ranged from -10C to -20C.

*Ensure staff is cleaning the kitchen on regular basis. Better organization is required throughout.
**Ensure all the violations are corrected by the follow up inspection date. Failure to comply will result in issuance of Correction Order and/or Violation Ticket.
