Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Bar handwash station cold water tap is not working.
Corrective Action(s): Handwash stations must have hot and cold running water, liquid hand soap, and single use paper towels to facilitate proper handwashing. While tap is being repaired, staff may wash hands in the kitchen.

Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Tomatoes and olives were stored in opened metal cans.
Corrective Action(s): Once canned food items are opened, contents must be transferred into food grade containers. Staff voluntarily discarded items.

Observation: Food debris was found accumulating under the frying area.
Corrective Action(s): Ensure facility is maintained in a clean and sanitary condition to prevent potential pest attraction. Fry area needs to be cleaned on a regular basis.

Observation: Bar handwash station cold water tap does not work.

Comments

-Walk-in cooler was at 3C.
-Walk-in freezer was at -10C
-Prep cooler was at 4C (top and bottom).
-Bar cooler was at 4C.
-Upright freezer was at -10C.
-Chest freezer was at -22C.
-High temperature dishwasher had a final rinse 83C on the dish surface (minimum of 71C required for proper sanitizing).
-Bar glasswasher had a final rinse of 12.5ppm iodine (facility has switched from chlorine to iodine)
-Kitchen handwash stations supplied with hot and cold running water, liquid hand soap, and single use paper towels.
-Quats sanitizer spray bottles in bar and kitchen labelled and tested at 200ppm.
-Equipment and utensils were found to be clean and sanitary at the time of inspection.
-Ice machine was found to be clean and sanitary. Bar area ice scoop stored in a sanitary manner.
-No signs of pests noted at the time of inspection.
-Washroom clean and well maintained.
-FoodSafe Level 1 valid until Feb 19, 2022.
