Observation: Droppings were noted on packaging material for food and food equipment as well as on shelving units and freezer .
Corrective Action(s): Discard all packaging material and food equipment that may have come into contact with the droppings. Clean up all droppings and sanitize all food/food equipment contact surfaces (ie. shelving units, food preparation surfaces, coolers, freezer...etc).

Observation: 100ppm chlorine sanitizer available in all food preparation areas, however a few wiping cloths noted on food contact surfaces throughout the premises.
Corrective Action(s): Keep all wiping cloths stored in sanitizer solution to prevent microbial growth.

Observation: A) Noted open boxes of vegetables stored on shelving units where rat droppings were found. No obvious sign of dropping contamination noted in boxes of vegetables or other foods.
B) Some lights in the food preparation areas did not have covers
Corrective Action(s): A) Check all food during clean up and discard any contaminated foods. Keep all foods in dry storage area stored in pest proof containers.
B) Obtain covers or sleeves for the lights in the food preparation areas to prevent possible contamination in case bulbs break.

304 - Premises not free of pests [s. 26(a)]
Observation: Rat droppings noted in the dry storage area. Rat droppings were on packaging material for the food containers as well as on shelving units and freezer units. Fruit fly activity also noted in the food preparation area. Closure Order issued at time of inspection.
Corrective Action(s): Immediately close the restaurant. The restaurant is to remain closed until all items noted on the closure order have been completed and an inspection is conducted by an Environmental Health Officer with Fraser Health Authority to rescind the closure order. Clean up all droppings, discard any contaminated foods and packaging material, sanitize all food contact surfaces in both the dry storage and food preparation areas, contact the pest control company, locate/seal all entry points and keep all foods in pest proof containers. Fax copy of pest control findings, recommendations and corrective actions to the undersigned.

Corrective Action(s): Do a thorough cleaning in the dry storage and food preparation areas. Clean up all droppings and sanitizer all surfaces. Keep the food preparation areas as dry as possible.

Ice machine appeared clean with scoop for ice stored outside of the ice in a separate container.
High temperature dish washer achieved 71C (with thermolabel).
