Observation: Some food in the walk-in freezer (spring rolls and broth) was stored unprotected, without covers/ lids.
Some dry herbs/ condiments were stored with no lids/ covers in the dry storage areas.
Corrective Action(s): Any food stored in the freezer and cooler units for a prolong time period or overnight must be stored protected with a plastic wrap, aluminum foil or cover/ lid to protect it from potential overhead contamination.
Have lids available for the dry herbs/ condiments to protect pests or unwanted materials from contaminating the food.

Observation: 10+ fresh mouse droppings noted in the cabinet below the front handwash sink.

Continue to work with the pest control company (comes in twice a month) to seal off all entry points and deprive any food sources for pest. Continue to maintain the cleanliness of the facility to improve pest issue.

Routine inspection conducted today:
Handwash stations, including staff washroom, accessible, equipped with hot and cold running water, liquid soap and paper towel.
All refrigeration units were noted at 4.0C or below.
All freezer units were noted at -18C or below.
Good storage hierarchy observed - raw meat stored on one side or away from produce or ready-to-eat/ cook food.
Rice were being held over 60C in the rice cookers.
Bleach available and bleach sanitizer container was just refilled during the inspection - noted with 200 PPM chlorine residual.
50 PPM chlorine residual detected at the low temperature dish machine.
Cleanliness and organization satisfactory.
Manager's FOODSAFE certificate still valid - expires Aug 4, 2024.
