Observation: Tape was observed over the faucet of the prep. sink. Tape is not made of durable, impervious to moisture, or easy to clean materials. Staff informed that they have ordered a new faucet to replace the existing faucet since it was previously spraying water in different directions.
Corrective Action(s): Replace the faucet at the prep. sink; Correct within 1 month. Once replaced, do not use tape over the new faucet.

309 - Chemicals, cleansers, & similar agents stored or labeled improperly [s. 27]
Observation: Chlorine sanitizer spray bottle and sanitizer pail were not labelled at the time of inspection. Staff informed that the previous labels had washed off.
Corrective Action(s): Label the chlorine sanitizer spray bottle and sanitizer pail to properly identify the contents; Correct today. Ensure labels are replaced if they wear off in the future.

Comments

Both handsinks were supplied with liquid soap, hot and cold running water, and single-use paper towels.
Staff were observed properly washing their hands between different activities at the time of inspection.
Walk-in-cooler and upright cooler were at or below 4 degrees C in the main kitchen.
Second walk-in-cooler in the separate designated storage room was at or below 4 degrees C. Mostly whole vegetables and beverages are stored in this cooler.
Chest freezer and upright freezer were at or below -18 degrees C in the separate designed storage room.
Hot-held food was at or above 60 degrees C.
100 ppm chlorine sanitizer was available inside a spray bottle and sanitizer pail.
100 ppm chlorine sanitizer was setup in the third compartment sink unit.
3-compartment sink unit was supplied with hot and cold running water.
Prep. sink was supplied with hot and cold running water.
Ventilation hood panels were in a clean condition at the time of inspection.
Pest control program was in place on a weekly basis via the Mall.
Staff member with valid FOODSAFE Level 1 training was present on shift.
