Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): 1. Ice machine scoop observed within ice machine. Handle in contact with ice.
2. Carton of raw shell eggs observed stored above sliced onions in front preparation cooler. Note: No signs of leakage from egg carton and sliced onions covered with plastic food wrap.
Corrective Action(s): Ice scoop removed from ice machine. Ensure scoop is stored in a manner that protects ice from potential contamination from the scoop handle. Scoop may be stored within a clean, dry container.
Raw shell eggs relocated. Ensure raw animal products (e.g. eggs, meat) are not stored above any ready-to-eat items. Raw products may potentially leak/drip onto, and contaminate, foods below.
