Cockroaches were found inside the prep cooler, walk-in cooler, in the deep fryer oil well and baskets, and throughout the facility. Various life cycles of cockroaches in addition to eggs were found throughout the facility. Corrective Action(s): All foods which are not in hermetically sealed container in the facility must be discarded and cannot be consumed. Food items may have been contaminated by pests. -Follow-up inspection to April 29, 2024 - Public Health Act Closure Order was issued for pest infestation. -Public Health Act Closure Order was posted on the front window of the facility and was covered/obstructed with a large menu board - this is a contravention of the Order which stated the "Order is to be posted and cannot be removed, altered, or covered" -Operator stated the facility was serviced by a professional pest control operator yesterday (April 30, 2024). -Public Health Act Closure Order is still in effect. Facility must remain closed until all conditions of the Order have been met. Contact the Health Department for a follow-up inspection once the conditions of the Order have been met. -Please contact the inspector if you have any questions or concerns. -Signature not required.
