Introduction

An unscheduled routine inspection was conducted to assess compliance with the Community Care and Assisted Living Act (CCALA), the Child Care Licensing Regulations (CCLR) and the relevant Director of Licensing Standards of Practice (DOLSOP). All areas of the facility were inspected for compliance.

Observed Violations
No violations were found during the inspection.

Comments

On the inspection date of September 28, 2022, there were 4 children and 1 staff present. At this inspection, no contraventions were identified.
As part of this Routine Inspection a Facility Risk Assessment Tool was completed. This inspection and the risk assessment were reviewed with the staff onsite and a copy is provided.
LO provided the following education today:

- High Chairs: discussion was had to transition older children out of high chair as they show appropriate signs of readiness to move to the table and chairs.
- Care plan/Support plan: discussion was had about make timely/ appropriate referrals for children who may need extra support and create care/support plans with parents.
