Routine Inspection

Walk-in cooler at 4 C or below.
Walk-in freezer at -7 C. Note, freezers must be at -18 C. Staff indicated freezer was being opened and closed due to checks for order placement.
***Display cooler - all inserts except first row with rice at 4 C or below. Rice registered around 8 C. Staff indicated that the rice and other inserts in the front row become too warm due to the heat from the bread. If the inserts are unable to remain cold, do one of the following:
-only keep food in these inserts for a maximum of 2 hours
-place ice underneath the insert to lower the temperature
Note: rice is not on the Food Temperature Log - this item should be added.
Two door undercounter cooler at 4 C or below.
Hot holding > 60 C.
Quats sanitizer dispensing at 200 ppm from dispenser at the 3 compartment sink. Ensure spray bottle is re--filled with fresh solution daily.
Handwashing sink equipped with hot/cold running water, liquid soap and single-use towels.
Fraser Health Permit to Operate posted.
Ice from ice machine appeared to be free of contamination. Staff stated ice machine gets serviced routinely.
