- Premises and equipment well maintained and in sanitary condition.
- Dry storage room and store/retail area organized with all food items stored on shelving.
- No signs of pest activity at time of the inspection. Pest control contract in place with monthly service.
- Handsink supplied with liquid soap and paper towel.
- Coolers were operating at acceptable temperatures (4C or colder):
- Display coolers #1 - #3: 2C, 4C, 2C
- Cooler #4 (single door prep cooler) 3C
- Cooler #5 (3 door prep cooler) 3C
- Cooler #6 (storage room) 1C

- Freezers were maintaining products in a frozen state.

- Cold holding and hot holding temperatures are checked and recorded daily. Records viewed at time of inspection and were complete/up to date.
- Quats sanitizer present for sanitizing food contact surfaces. Concentration of solution in spray bottle measured 200ppm.
- Alcosan present in spray bottle and used for high touch surfaces.
- Chemicals stored away from food products.
- Warewashing is completed in processing portion of the facility (Island City Baking) which is licensed/inspected by CFIA.
- Dishwasher wash and rinse temperature are checked and recorded daily.
- High temperature dishwasher was operational and met required sanitizing temperature. Temperature was 73.3C at dish surface (checked with min/max thermometer)
- Quats sanitizer present from dispenser at 3 compartment sink,
- Staff/public washroom maintained with liquid soap and paper towel for handwashing.
- Assistant Manager and has completed Foodsafe level 1. Certificate valid until January 26, 2024.

Observations reviewed with Assistant Manager and a copy of the report was provided.
