Observation: Observed the following:
- Numerous dry product totes (e.g. gur, brown rice, sugar, almonds, raisans, etc.) not covered to protect food from contamination.
- Scoops for dispensing dry products left in food product.
Corrective Action(s):
- Cover all dry product totes with a cover to protect food from contmaination.
- Store all scoops for dry products outside of dry products to protect food from contamination.

304 - Premises not free of pests [s. 26(a)]
Observation: Several mice caught on glue traps underneath shelves. Mouse droppings observed throughout premise.
Corrective Action(s): Immediate actions required are to:

1. Thoroughly clean the entire premise. Focus cleaning efforts underneath all shelves and behind dry product bins.
2. Remove any unnecessary items.
3. Use a 100ppm bleach solution to disinfect affected areas.

Then contact your pest control company to address mouse issue. New traps are to be placed to monitor mice populatio levels. Thorough cleaning to be completed everyday. Seal any holes/entry points. Back door to premise and front entrance to be closed to prevent further pest entry.

Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION):
- Back door and front door left open.
- Organic bin open.
- Numerous cardboard boxes discarded onto the ground and not into the cardboard bin.
- Significant pooling of rain water up to the building foundation at the back of the premise.
Corrective Action(s):
- Ensure both doors are closed to prevent potential pest entry. Close the back door quickly when receiving shipments from suppliers.
- Keep organic bin closed after discarding organic waste.
- Flatten and discard cardboard into waste bin.
- Service drainage points to prevent pooling of rain water.
