Services: nails (pedicures, manicures, footbath, pedicure blade), esthetics (facials - cream & chemical peels & facial massage, waxing, eyelash/brow tinting).
No microneedling, no microblading etc. No numbing cream.
Critical items:
- Lancets are sterile and single use and disposed into a sharps container.
- Credo/pedicure blade is single use and disposed into a sharps container.
Semi critical items:
- High level disinfectant (CS20) used for semi critical items (cuticle nippers, cuticle pushers, nail clippers, metal foot file). Has DIN number and items are cleaned and dried first. 20 minutes contact time.
Non critical - foot baths:
- Intermediate level disinfectant in spray bottle (plus disposable plastic liner) for foot bath. Has DIN # plus TB claim.
Non critical - other:
- Low level disinfectant (GermXtra and barbicide) for non-critical items such as tweezers used for hair removal (but not ingrown hair removal) and scissors.
Disposable / single use only:
- Absorbent files, drill bit sanding bands, tissue for toe separation, any absorbent callus remover (pumice), waxing strips, wooden wax spatulas, qtips, cotton pads, gauze.
Other:
- Reviewed waxing procedures. Wax appears clean.
- Eyelash/brow tints - using tints labelled for use around eye by professionals only.
- Hand washing sinks in treatment room and washroom - have hot/cold water and liquid soap and paper towels in dispensers.
- Disposable non-latex gloves also used.
- Always follow directions on disinfecant labels for proper and safe use of chemicals.
- Clean up sink available.
- Laundry is in house - using sanitizing wash cycle and sanitizing hot dry cycle.
- Floors are washable.
