Report of Findings
Community Care Facilities Licensing [CCFL] received a complaint on December 12, 2023, regarding medication and records and reporting.

All areas of the complaint were fully investigated. Evidence was received and reviewed from interviews and documentation.

Licensing confirmed the following:
The facility did not follow a written instruction in relation to administration of medication.
Facility policies were not followed by staff by accepting provided medication.
A care plan was not in place for a child requiring additional support.

Therefore, the following contraventions to the Child Care Licensing Regulations were cited:
Section 56(2) – Policies and procedures
Section 53(1)(a) – Medication
Section 58(2)(a) – Records and reporting
