Observation: Large amount of droppings noted in the warehouse between the racking and the wall. Some droppings were also noted in the ingredient storage area.
Corrective Action(s): Continue with providing pest control service. Inspect all areas of the plant periodically to identify harborage areas. Do not limit monitoring to the trap locations only.

Observation: Gaps are noted under some loading bay doors ( e.g., dock leveler not down all the way, doors not lowered completely, gap in the bottom seal of the screen door for one of the loading bay). Damaged drywall in the warehouse area near where the droppings were noted. Spilled grains and spilled spent grain outside found.
Corrective Action(s): Close the gaps and openings. Keep the exterior clean so rodents are not attracted to the perimeter of the building.

Comments

This facility manufactures beers and fruit concentrate based alcoholic beverage.
The Can line is running. The glass bottle line is not operating today.
No concerns noted with the processing method. Sanitary condition of the ingredient storage area has improved.
Pest control issues identified need to be addressed.
Large amount of mold and condensation noted on the inside surface of the north exterior wall.
Operator is in the process of developing HACCP.
