Introduction

An unscheduled routine inspection was conducted to assess compliance with the Community Care and Assisted Living Act (CCALA), the Child Care Licensing Regulations (CCLR) and the relevant Director of Licensing Standards of Practice (DLSP). All areas of the facility were reviewed for compliance.

Contraventions
Previous Inspection - Contraventions observed on FIR #DCNG-AWUTFJ have been corrected.
Current Inspection - Items reviewed comply with the Act, regulations & standards of practice.

Observed Violations
No violations were found during the inspection.

Comments

At the inspection dated Dec. 17, 2018, in Room A there were 24 children and 4 staff present; Room B there were 10 children and 3 staff and in Room C there were 18 chilren with 4 staff.. At this inspection the above noted contraventions were no contraventions were identified.
During inspection Licensing observed:
children in the 3 - 5 programs engaged in circle time and then free play in the outside areas.
children in the toddler program engaged in yoga and the free play including science, dramatic play etc.
staff interacting with children while they were engaged in their activities.

As part of this Routine Inspection a Facility Risk Assessment Tool is completed and a copy is provided.
