Follow-up inspection conducted for inspection report# KLAI-CFSPLZ
Bleach sanitizer solution was set-up in the kitchen at the time of inspection. 100 ppm chlorine residual was detected.
Paper towel dispenser installed by the front of house handwash station. Note: Do not store any food/ food contact items directly below the paper towel dispenser to avoid contaminating the food/ food contact items stored below when a staff reaches out for the paper towel to dry their hands.
No unprotected food noted stored in the walk-in freezer.
Did not observe any flies in the facility during the inspection.
Sanitary condition of the fume hood noted improved - slight grease and carbon buildup still noted. Please clean this area often to avoid dripping grease and buildup that may lead to the contamination of food or potential fire hazard.
Floor below the dishwashing machine area, 3-compartment sink and cabinet below the front of house handwashing station noted in a sanitary condition.
Spoons, with proper handles extending from food, were noted in use for bulk food containers.
A proper container was noted in used to store cleaned and in-use trays, colander and bowls below the 3-compartment sink.

Outstanding violations that must be addressed before the next routine inspection.

Containers of condiments (star anise, sugar, coriander, etc.) still stored unprotected in the dry storage area.
Mop bucket not immediately emptied after use. This is especially important to prevent the breeding of flies. Mop water must be discarded as soon as mopping is completed.
Mouse droppings still noted around the hot water tank. Please sweep, clean and sanitize this area.

No further follow-up required at this time.
