Observation: Ice machine observed to have built-up of meldew along the inside guard of the ice machine.
Correction: Discard current batch of ice. Clean and sanitize the ice machine. Review and follow facility's Sanitation Plan.

Equipment/utensils/food contact surfaces not properly washed and sanitized [s. 17(2)]
Observation: No chlorine sanitizer spray bottle available for the front servicing area. Chlorine sanitizer bucket in the kitchen measured greater than 200ppm. Low-temperature dishwasher measured at 10ppm chlorine.
Correction: Prepare chlorine sanitizer spray bottle and bucket to measure between 100-200ppm chlorine. Service the dishwasher to measure at 50-200ppm chlorine. Temporarily use 2-compartment sink to wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes. Facility to conduct take-out only until health inspector validates the low-temperature dishwasher is sanitizing between 50-200ppm chlorine. Corrected by: June 8, 2022.

Follow-up Inspection Conducted today for report#JCHY-CF5UHF.
All violations in report#JCHY-CF5UHF have been corrected:
-Operator informed that large batches of cooked food will be cooled in shallow containers. Operator informed that they have placed an order for an ice wand to ensure proper cooling of potentially hazardous foods.
-Ice machine observed in sanitary condition.
-Chlorine sanitizer spray bottle available for the front servicing area measured at 200ppm.
-Low-temperature dishwasher measured at 50ppm chlorine.
-Scoops observed to be stored outside of dry good bins and ice machine. No scoop observed in direct contact in dosa batter at the time of inspection.
-Handwashing sinks well equipped with hot and cold running water, liquid soap, and paper towel. Handwashing sinks observed to be unobstructed.
-Exhaust hood vent observed to be in sanitary condition.
-Vegetable dicer observed to be removed not related in the normal operations of the premises.


NOTE: Ensure dosa batter scoop is not in direct contact with dosa. No scoops handle must be in direct contact with food to prevent cross-contamination.
