Introduction

An unscheduled routine inspection was conducted to assess compliance with the Community Care and Assisted Living Act (CCALA), the Child care Licensing Regulations (CCLR) and the relevant Director of Licensing Standards of Practice (DLSP). All areas of the facility were reviewed for compliance.

No violations were found during the inspection.

Comments

Summary of Inspection At today’s inspection there were 4 children and the Manager present with 2 other individuals on site over 12 years of age.. At this inspection there were no contraventions were identified. No actions is required by the licensee Licensing did a walk through of the whole home as the program operates on the lower level of the home. As part of this Routine Inspection a Facility Risk Assessment Tool was completed and a copy was provided. The following education /recommendations through discussion were provided: · Duty line for any reportable incidents if required. · Active Supervision · Lead in the Water/flushing pipes reminder Discussed facility policies and keeping them as a living document.
