-Follow-up inspection to January 09, 2024.
-Cooler #8 has been serviced. Refrigeration gas was added to the cooler unit and it was at 3C to 4C. Inaccurate thermometer was replaced at the time of inspection. Continue to monitor cooler temperatures and contact a service technician as needed. Management staff must check temperature records to verify they are completed properly. Maintain temperature logs on-site for 60 to 90 days.
-Chemical dishwasher had a final rinse of 50ppm chlorine on the glass surface during the final rinse. Equipment, utensils, and dishware in the facility have been rewashed and sanitized properly. Staff have obtained test strips which have not expired to verify the chlorine concentration twice daily. Staff must check and record the concentration daily (record the concentration in ppm and not just a check mark).
-Did not observe staff phones stored on food contact surfaces at the time of inspection. Ensure staff review the cellphone policy and adhere to the policy. Management must monitor staff to verify compliance.
-Operator stated hand hygiene/glove use practices have been reviewed with staff. Management must monitor staff to verify they are practicing good hand hygiene practices.
-Scoops were stored in a sanitary manner at the time of inspection.
-Did not observe frozen foods thawing at room temperature at the time of inspection.
-Review food safety and sanitation practices with all deli staff to ensure they are handling food in a safe and sanitary manner.
