Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Hot brewed coffee & tea beverages cooled at room temp on counter for short time before being placed in coffee cooler.
Corrective Action(s): Ensure all hot foods and beverages requiring cooling are cooled rapidly before being placed in cooler unit.
Rapid cooler options:
1. Ice bath
2. Ice / cooling wand
3. Stirring
*Combination of all 3 is quickest and best.
Rapid cooling done outside unit will also prolong the life of the cooler unit as the unit will not have struggle to decrease the high temperature each time.

Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Versys milk heating wand wiping after use by cloth - cloth does not have sanitizer on cloth.
Corrective Action(s): Ensure all food contact surfaces are sanitized with 100 - 200 ppm chlorine solution or 200 ppm QUATS solution after each use.
Have wiping cloths stored in sanitizer solution after each use.

*Operator moved permit to near POS to be visible to customers during inspection upon request by EHO

Note:
1. Operator asked about adding small warming oven in future. Before any additions of equipment, provide specs of new equipment along with proposed location in premises to Fraser Health for review and approval first.
2. Label dump sink and hand sink in back dishpit area to clearly designate the purpose of each sink as the both are the same side and are next to each other.
